Animals & Art Camp

❝ I've always believed that the best learning happens when kids are genuinely excited about what they're exploring. That's exactly why I created Animals & Art Camp — where creativity meets the animal kingdom! This camp brings together two things I absolutely love: animals and art.

Throughout this week-long journey, campers explore exciting GTA locations featuring incredible animals and habitats — and sometimes, the animals are brought right to us! Each destination becomes the inspiration for unique art projects that let kids express what they've seen and learned.

Destinations:

• High Park Zoo — fascinating species in an urban oasis
• The AGO - Art Gallery of Ontario

Artistic Exploration:

• Photography inspired by real animal encounters
• Painting, drawing & mixed-media projects
• Sculpture and hands-on 3D creation
• Sketching and observational art based on destinations

Camp Goals & Outcomes:

• Foster a love for animals, nature, and environmental curiosity
• Build artistic skills across multiple disciplines
• Encourage imagination, creative thinking, and self-expression
• Teach campers about habitats, species, and animal behaviour
• Promote teamwork, confidence, and social development

Each age group (5-7, 8-10, and 11-13) gets a unique experience tailored to their level, ensuring everyone is engaged, challenged, and having fun. All supplies and admission costs are included in the camp fee. Camp runs from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with extended care available. We need a minimum of 10 campers to run each session — bring a friend and register early!
